Model T006 To fix the Micro Compass to a mast
Package contents: T006 Long Slug Bracket, metal slug, 2 non ~magnetic M4 bolts, O ring
Drop the slug into the mast slot through the gate using a tool to catch the slug at the desired height
Fix the slug in place with a single bolt Offer up the bracket, attaching loosely to the slug with the second bolt
Now remove and refit the first bolt Tighten both bolts
Bracket is then a permanent fixture. Simply put the O ring over the outside of the bracket, attach Tacktick compass by means of the 4 thumb nuts each time you sail, and secure by pulling the O ring back over the bracket sides to lock into the grooves at the end of the bracket.
