The modern alternative to wooden emergency plugs, Sta ~Plug has edge gripping riblets to help hold it in place. Sta ~Plug is a cone shaped plug made of a proprietary foam formulation that is solid, spongy and coated with a flexible sealer. Capable of sealing round, oval or irregular holes in boat hulls, Sta ~Plug is compressed by hand and inserted into the hole stopping or reducing the inward flow of water as the foam returns to its original shape. Sta ~Plug can be cut with a razor knife or torn by hand and forced into elongated openings using a putty knife or similar tool. Usable 10 degrees to 275 degrees F. Adjustable: Can be torn near 8th ring to make a smaller 2 inch diameter plug
