Sail Chafe Protector or sailguard wheel is a UV resistant moulding to protect against sail chafe on guardrails and stanchions.
The sailguard wheel fits easily to rigging by simply snapping around the wires or the shroud protector.
Wire diameter 6 to 10 mm Sold as pair.
It also helps prevent entanglement as it assists the sail over the rigging lines
Sail guard is a split plastic wheel which simply clips over the boats lifelines. The first sailguard should be positioned someway infront of the first stanchion, the next one just behind and so on.
