Short Link Calibrated Anchor Chain ~ Hot dip galvanised ~ 30M Length

Generally, modern winch gypsies are calibrated to take DIN766 chain, however there
are some exceptions. Older Simpson Lawrence types can be difficult to identify as
they used odd sizes chains and also made different gypsies to take various link length
chains.
We would suggest you purchase a short length first and check it in your winch prior to
placing a large order as we are UNABLE to accept chain for a refund.

Our calibrated chain is available in several sizes to fit most windlassess. You will need to tell
us what make and model of windlass you have to enable us to check the specification.

6 x 18.5 x 20 DIN 766 0.80KG/MTR 1800KG BL ~ To our knowledge fits all winches.

7 x 22 x 23 DIN 766 1.00KG/MTR 2548KG BL ~ May fit old imperial 1/4 in gypsies. Also useful
for hand pull chain where 6mm is small and 8mm heavy for size of boat and rope/chain lines.

8 x 24 x 27.2 DIN 766 1.40KG/MTR 3200KG BL ~ To our knowledge fits all winches.

10 x 28 x 34 DIN 766 2.2KG/MTR 5000KG BL ~ To our knowledge fits Lewmar and others EXCEPT
QUICK AND LOFRANS.

10 x 30 x 35 ISO Calibrated 2.35KG/MTR 5000KG BL ~ To our knowledge fits Lewmar and Quick

Gypsies are sometimes stamped with DIN 766 and a diameter, if this is the case it will be the
DIN 766 chain to that diameter. American winches may use American size chain which is NOT
obtainable in Europe.

This chain is sourced from the far east but is very good quality.
